Life is an awful, ugly place not to have a bestfriend - Sarah Dessen
Yesterday I had the chance to have a 'date' with my best-est bestfriend in the whole wide universe, undeterred by the hyperactive gastric juices in my tummy due to my clinically diagnosed peptic ulcer, I endured. Its like I am reuniting with my long lost twin sister despite our obvious physical differences LOL She is a petite, smart, witty, little kiddo but in some rare situations, can be very very sophisticated, She looks very middle eastern-esque with her striking features and one of them is her beaming smile that can brighten up a whole town. (you can check her blog here ----> MAY) Unlike me, who's chubbier, but with equally pretty smile (ehem ehem ehem, *cough *cough) and who has very very Asian features, BUT THEN AGAIN, i know we are beautiful and no one can bring us down.
We've known each other since 5th grade, and up until this day, i love her dearest. We don't see each other that much so we make sure that if we do, we make the most out of it.
Yesterday was her day-off, me, on the other hand, filed a one day-leave 2 weeks prior yesterday so we can have a whole day of splurging, eating, goofing out and having fun just like old times without giving a damn.
We went shopping like cuuuuuuuureeeeeeyyyyyyyzi, we even bought a friendship ring, an identical head-thingamajig and the same pair of shoes... And as expected, we still have the same aestheticism and fondness with our choice of clothing. Our tantamount love for oversized cardigans, cropped tees, chunky buckled-wedges, tribal printed stuff, vintage looking pieces and Our parallel affection with animal prints, quirky accessories and the colors nude, tangerine, mustard and teal.
...we went blissfully home, tired feet, numerous number of shopping bags, empty wallets, but extremely satisfied smiles. PART DEUX PUUUUHHLEEEAASSSEE.....
