let me define Color Blocking first,
Color Blocking - defined as multiple shades of solid colors put together in one ensemble to contrast, give emphasis and highlight the richness of the color.
SO HOW CAN YOU DO COLOR BLOCKING WITHOUT OVERDOING IT?
1. Wear 2-3 shades of color in one ensemble, you don't want to look like a rainbow do you?
2. be bold and brave mix and match totally opposite colors but be sure to tone it down with simple accessories.
3. to avoid being over the top, mix pastels and light prints on your ensemble.
4. be confident, creative and most of all have fun!
